Berlín Marathon 2007
For the third year, the D&D
running team ran a marathon to benefit the Foundation. The marathon
“Dream Team” includes the team founders Julek Babecki,
Alvaro del Castaño, Pablo Cavero and Javier Oficialdegui
as well as Iñigo Garcia-Palencia, Jose Antonio Pardo, Javier
Perez de Leza and Iñigo Santías, Ivan Poza y Nicolas
Franco.

- Fundraising
Parties.
The D&D Foundation hosts two
large benefit parties in Madrid and Barcelona to raise awareness
and funds for our cause. During the summer event, more than 300
people attend and we hope the number of attendees increases each
year.

- Benefit Tournaments:
In collaboration with Principe
Sports, the D&D Foundation organized its first fundraiser
padel tournament in November 2004. With the success of the first
tournament, D&D Foundation has begun the work to integrate
this sport as a specially adapted padel program for disabled players
as well as offering an annual tournament.

- Birthday Parties:
Sponsors and supporters have celebrated
their birthdays with the goal of raising funds for the D&D
Foundation. So far, Quique and Dani have successfully combined
their celebrations with raising both social awareness and donations
for the D&D Foundation and it is really appreciated. Thank
you very much!!
- Holiday Gift
Fair:
In 2003, 2004 and upcoming in
2005, the D&D Foundation has participated in a special holiday
giftshop open for one week in December in Madrid. The profits
from the store´s sales are donated to four selected charity
organizations to continue their work in social, cultural, education,
sports efforts for children.

Christmas Lottery:
During the holiday season, the
D&D Foundation offers the opportunity for friends and supporters
to join together in a group lottery ticket in the massive national
Christmas lottery of Spain. Though the first year the D&D
Foundation´s number was not chosen, the efforts will continue
annually.

Holiday Cards:
The handicapped athletes that
participate in the programs offer their artwork which is converted
into beautiful holiday cards sold to the public to raise funds
for the D&D Foundation.

Benefit Concerts:
The D&D Foundation organized
a benefit musical concert with performances by la Blau Kamara
Quartet, David Granato and Blanca Carbonell. Future concerts are
greatly anticipated.
